Posted: November 24, 2008
While attending the International Leadership Institute Conference in Uganda recently, Rev. Carey Akin and Mike Kelly shot this short video of thanks from two Ugandan pastors, in a region where violence is still prevalent. The pastors were extremely thankful for this training that will help them rebuild their communities.

Women’s Bazaar raised $3,500 for missions
Posted: November 13, 2008
The Christian Navigators Womenʼs Circle held a Christmas Bazaar that raised almost $3,500 for the missions we support, especially the Special Needs Program at Mt. Bethel. We would like to thank our sponsors: Divine Lights, Designs by Christopher Lee, Butterfly House, Usborne Books, Arbonne International, Tupperware, Sassy Accessories, and The Paper Princess, Inc. We would also like to thank the vendors, shoppers, and others that worked so hard with us.
The Mt. Bethel maintenance staff put up 65 tables, our biggest venue yet. Dan Boswell helped us secure the gym, and Coach Hall gave up the gym (his classroom) for an entire day for us!! The loving nursery staff kept our children safe while we volunteered our time, and our wonderful Christian Navigator Ladies all came together to have 92 casseroles prepared and sold, help vendors, bake goodies and even wave to cars while holding signs for the sales.
God continues to bless us by helping us grow the bazaar each year!

iPraise Halloween Event
Posted: November 6, 2008
What a great time iPraise & weePraise Kids had on Wednesday the 29th of October. They welcomed in Halloween, dressed up in their favorite costumes, Singing, ringing, acting, and enjoying lots of candy with their best friends. The kids were encouraged to bring a friend to experience learning music, drama, Orff, handbells, and chimes. Positive feedback was received from this outreach event with several children joining!
We’d love for you to come to our Christmas Musical on Wednesday Dec. 17th at 6:30. Your children are welcome to join iPraise and weePraise in January!

Volunteer Coordinator

Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program
Posted: November 5, 2008
Would you be interested in “re-directing” your state taxes to a scholarship fund for the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy?
What if you could help a former MBCA student currently attending public school come back?
Wouldn’t it be great if MBCA could offer a scholarship to an outstanding kid who couldn’t afford to come?
Find out how you can help by downloading the GOAL PDF here.
