100th Live It Live!

Posted: January 14, 2009

On January 25th, we will be celebrating the 100th Live It Live!   During the past 2 and a half years, Live It Live! has earned 4 national awards for excellence and reached approximately 25,000 children with the message of Jesus Christ.  We look forward to sharing the Live It Live! experience with kids across the country through the development of a new K-5th grade curriculum.  Live It Live! curriculum will be available to other churches beginning in Spring ‘09.

Thank you to everyone who has made this service such a success.  It wouldn’t have been possible to hit this milestone without all of our wonderful volunteers and staff.  To Him be the glory!  Join us in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday, the 25th at 12:15 for a “LIL” celebration.

The video will be shown at the annual Worship Facilities Expo in Houston, TX November 5th.

Here is the segment that won, from Episode #305 about the seven plagues of Egypt.

Video from the East Cobber Parade

Mt Bethel UMC was well represented in this years 2008 East Cobber Parade. The “Live It Live!” float, a real crowd pleaser, led the way with the “Live It Live!” Band and the “Live It Live!” dancers along with Russell the Race Guy, Miss Deone and Miss Jane.

Following “Live It Live!” was Mt Bethel’s own Ann D’Agostino, “Ms. Georgia Senior”. And finally, the Mt Bethel Christian Academy featuring MBCA students and teachers, accompanied by headmaster Dr. Bob Burris and principal Vivian Lovett, with the MBCA Cheerleaders and mascot.

Enjoy the video!

In addition to our Christian Academy being in the parade, Mt. Bethel’s “Live It Live!” Worship Team will participate in the East Cobber Parade Saturday, September 20th at 9am. The parade route starts at Mt. Bethel Elementary and ends at Olde Towne shopping center on Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta.

Come cheer on the “Live It Live!” float featuring the “Live It Live!” Band along with your favorite characters and the “Live It Live!” Kids. This is the third year “Live It Live!” has been part of this amazing parade and we look forward to seeing you there!

Live it Live! Curriculum

Posted: September 2, 2008

Due to the current financial situation we are facing here at Mt. Bethel UMC, MB Media and support staff, along with God’s blessing, have decided not to air “Live It Live!” for the last quarter of 2008. The media buy costs will be put to other areas in need as the church sees fit.  We will evaluate a return to air in January 2009. I want to thank iON Media and their staff for their professionalism and understanding as we move forward. I also want to thank the entire MB Media team for working tirelessly over the last two years to bring God’s word to so many in the southeast region.

However, when God closes one door He always opens another. “Live It Live!” worship service and the weekly taping of it will continue as we begin creating an “All New “Live It Live!” Children’s Curriculum.” Randy Mickler delivered the first sample DVD curriculum to the top 100 largest churches in America last week during a large church conference at Château Elan’.

In addition, MB Media will be attending Children’s Pastors Conference in January 2009 to showcase our curriculum in full bloom! Thank you to all that have made “Live It Live!” what it is today as we look forward to growing God’s Kingdom for all children! For updates please visit www.liveitlive.net.
