Bethel Women’s Retreat is over, but will not soon be forgotten! Each attendee connected with Gigi Graham, eldest daughter of Billy Graham, as she shared her heart-felt, real-life struggles. Babbie Mason inspired us through spiritual song and testimony. We were all touched by Jeanette Cathy, matriarch of the Chick-fil-A family, when she spoke, for the first time publicly, to our conference. Her message that “YOU CAN” was motivational to everyone.

All who attended were also blessed by our own Diane Mickler and Kim McGarr during their workshops. This retreat was special in so many ways!!

Mark your calendars because you won’t want to miss next year’s retreat on February 6, 7 and 8, 2009!!

Have you heard the GOOD NEWS about the Mt. Bethel Children’s Clothing and Consignment Sale? Every September and March, Mt. Bethel reaches out to the community to resell gently used clothing, books, toys, furniture and strollers. But that is only a part of the good news!! All the proceeds from the sale go right back into the global community! That’s right…every penny is redistributed to local charities and foreign missions around the world!! Places like Cobb County Children in Need, Red Bird Mission, AnySoldier.com, Zimbabwe, Romania and Kazakhstan (to name a few!) received over $50,000 in 2007. WOW!!

It’s a mission of passion that spreads God’s love throughout the world!
