Saturday night was so much fun! We had over 60 middle school students getting lost in corn mazes with Bible questions to guide the way out. Students had a blast riding the hayrides and jumping on the amazing blow-up pillow. To keep warm the students sipped on hot chocolate or apple cider and made smores at the bonfires. Some even won prizes from the 104.7 the Fish booth! It was a great night of fall fun.

Tuesday morning breakfast went great this morning, with the added excitement of a tornado warning. As soon as we heard of the warning, we sent all of the students to the nursery area in the church basement to keep them safe, and we contacted all of the schools to make sure they would receive an excused tardy.

Wow. The first Tuesday morning breakfast was a huge success. There were 115 students attending on the 2nd day of school. We gathered at 7:30 in the CAC to play a huge game of Dodgeball then had our devotion. The theme for the year is “What gives you life?” (Deuteronomy 30:11-20)
Throughout the year we will be discussing topics and questions about this world that give you life; the kind of life that God would have you to live. Then we went to the fellowship hall and stuffed our face full of doughnuts and other scrumptious food. If you happened to miss out on the first Tuesday Morning Breakfast the next one is this coming Tuesday and every Tuesday after that……ever! I look forward to seeing you there.

This Sunday, June 8th is the Third Annual Walk to Brusters in Halloween costumes in the summer. Last year was so much fun and this year will be even better. The time has changed and it is from 4-7. Please bring money for your ice cream and have your signed form in hand. Please meet in the Fellowship hall at 4:00.
Just a reminder to parents there is a parent meeting at 4 in the Upper Room. Hope to see you there. Opps! I forgot to say best costume get free Ice cream!
