"The Stephen Minister is the Care Giver .... GOD IS THE CURE GIVER"
The Stephen Ministry Program at Mt. Bethel is a national, non-denominational Christian Ministry of trained lay persons who reach out and help others in a one-to-one, man-to-man, woman-to-woman relationship during times of loss, divorce, death, illness, family problems, career/financial issues, spiritual crisis, etc. Confidentiality is the key component of the Stephen Ministry.
At Mt. Bethel, our Stephen Ministry is a dynamic resource and component for congregational care. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of intense training and then meet the last Tuesday evening of each month for supervision and continuing education.
If you are in need of a Christian brother or sister to walk with you during a difficult time in your life, please contact any one of our ministers to activate the referral process. A friend or family member may request a Stephen Minister on someone's behalf, but only with their express permission.
