MUST ministries is a faith-based organization that provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, meals, clothing, job readiness, counseling, children's programs and community support groups. Mt. Bethel members provide help with clothing, meals, overnights (laundry) and training.
URGENT need for volunteers the 1st, 3rd, 4th or 5th Monday of each month from 10:00AM to 12:00PM to staff the Clothes Rack. Computer system recently installed so it will be helpful to have at least one person each Monday who feels comfortable entering data into the computer. Training will be available. Call Millie Atkinson at 770-578-1334 for more information.
Mt. Bethel is responsible for the 5th, 12th, and 20th of each month to provide 2 people to spend the night at MUST. The evening begins at 8:00PM and ends at 6:00AM the next day. Here is a short testimony of one volunteer. "I can tell you it can be the best short term mission trip you will ever do. You don't have to get on a plane or need a passport. It's a quick trip up Highway 41. This is where you can deliver a small amount of hope to the hopeless."
