To date, Mt. Bethel has occupied six houses of worship. Four still exist, and each is in daily use on our main campus on Lower Roswell Road. The original 1840’s log church is gone, and the first church at the corner of Johnson Ferry and Lower Roswell burned shortly after it was built, but the others continue to add beauty and a sense of history and continuity to our Mt. Bethel experience.
The third – and oldest – sanctuary is now our historic chapel. The fourth now houses Planet Holywood, the youth facility. And the fifth was converted into classroom space and the Upper Room when the current sanctuary – the sixth – was built. We are blessed to have so many visible reminders of our history.
