Knitters and Crocheters from 10 to 82 years young gather to create handmade articles for needy babies,children and adults.
Donations of layettes and toddler items have been donated locally to The Hope Center, area hospitals and to The Linus Project. We have sent warm blankets, afghans, lapghans, sweaters, hats, slippers, scarves and mittens to Peru, Estonia, Costa Rica, Romania , the NC mountains and Brazil. Our newest project is the Prayer Shawl ministry. As we knit each shawl we are praying specifically for the recipient of the shawl. If you or someone you know needs special prayers, please contact us. We would be honored to knit a shawl and pray for them by name.
New “Angels” are always welcome and we’ll help you get started!
Meetings are Tuesdays, 10:30am - 12:30pm and the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:30pm in Room B111 located in the B Building.

Summer Meetings
The Wednesday Knitting Angels will not meet again until suppers resume in the fall. The Tuesday group will meet as usual during the summer.
