The purpose of The Hope Center is to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women who may be facing an untimely or unwanted pregnancy. The staff and volunteers of The HOPE Center seek to demonstrate God’s unconditional love so that our clients may come to know Him personally. The Hope Center offers:
Pregnancy Testing
Mentoring – One-on-one
Childbirth Preparation and Parenting Classes
Resources such as maternity and baby needs
Information regarding pregnancy, abortion and alternatives to abortion
PURE Satisfaction – a purity and abstinence program

Saturday, October 14th, 2006 honored volunteers a luncheon for The Hope Center. Mentor Helen Kortum, serving her clients at The Hope Center as one who knows the compassionate Christ, was awarded Mother of Israel 2006. She has been a faithful servant and a true example of what is to be a “Mother of Israel.” The “Mother of Israel” award was born from the biblical personification first noted in the book of Judges as the Judge/prophetess Deborah, who led the armies of God to defeat an overwhelming enemy.
Also honored were the Handy Helpers from Mt. Bethel U.M.C. with the Carpenter’s Hands Award for their significant assistance in the build-out of the New HOPE Center.
