M.U.S.T Ministries is a non-profit, faith-based organization helping people in our community break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. M.U.S.T provides basic necessities such as food, clothing and housing, free of charge without regard to residence, income, race or religious beliefs.
M.U.S.T. currently serves the community with a 44 bed homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, a food pantry, clothing facility and classes to help individuals become more self-sufficient. Our church supports M.U.S.T. in many different ways:
Donations Food and clothing are needed and may be dropped off at the M.U.S.T trailer near the CAC every Tuesday from 9am to 3pm.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Loaves & Fishes Kitchen - Volunteers needed to provide and serve and serve dinner for 60-70 people twice a month on the 5th & 12th. 6:15pm - 7:45pm. This is a great opportunity for a family or group of friends. Please contact: Millie Atkinson 770-578-1334.
Overnight Shelter - Two volunteers needed each month on the 5th, 12th & 20th to monitor shelter and do laundry for overnight guests. Arrive at 8:00pm to and leave at 6:00 am. Please contact: Sue Leithead, 770-977-1018 Missions Office: Sherry Reed, 678-560-7527 .
MUST Wear Clothes Closet - Staff the Clothes Rack every Monday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Sort and hang donated clothes, assist people from the shelter and community to find clothes for themselves and family members. Please contact: Carol Wells 770-955-8884 chwells@bellsouth.net

Lead Workshops: Help guests learn how to set short term goals during their (maximum) six-week stay in the MUST shelter. Every Wednesday evening, 8:30pm - 9:30pm. Please contact: Walter Lauter 770 993-3351
