Kazakhstan - Joan Althaus

Our mission is to glorify God, lifting up His Son Jesus Christ through modeling basic Christian community, offering education, and providing humanitarian aid; by living His Word led by the Holy Spirit, building bridges through relationships which lead to Christ, and affirming one another in our individual witness. Joan serves with the Mission Society Team in Kazakhstan and with national believers to implement Community Health Evangelism in the villages of the region. This program will put local believers into these villages, helping people to identify and address basic health and/or economic issues. Joan will use her medical background to serve as a resource to these Health/Evangelism Teams. She is a member of Mt Bethel and has been in the field since 2001.
