Older Adult Social and Day Respite

Hours: 10:30 am - 2:30 pm at the Older Adult Center
Open Monday through Thursday
Closed Fridays

We offer a weekday program for Older Adults in the community. This is an opportunity to meet new friends and experience fellowship in a supervised social setting. Activities are varied and include, "Seniorcise" (a gentle exercise program geared toward older adults), music, gardening, games, devotions, crafts and more.

This program is also designed for persons with Alzheimer's or other memory impairments. Participants can choose to come one or more days. Daily lunch is included in the fee.

Who Can Participate?

Our Program is intended for individuals who are 55 and older and no longer able to get around on their own, and are in need of social stimulation outside of their own family members.

We also provide respite care for families of seniors who have mild to moderate memory impairments or Alzheimer’s, but who can still attend to their personal needs.

A pre-participation interview assessment and application is required for all participants.

Fees: $35 per day (including lunch).
If you have any questions, please contact Dawn Reed and she will be happy to assist you.
