Ongoing Mission Opportunities

Donations:

• Large plastic shopping bags for the MUST clothes closet (Target, Kmart etc). Contact Millie Atkinson 770 578-1334 to arrange drop off.

• Eye glasses for the Lions Club – contact Dr Henry Bohn 770 971-7857.  Drop off in the Lions Club boxes next to the coke machine outside of the Fellowship Hall or at the Missions House.
• Campbell’s Soup labels for Gains Park Retirement Home.  Contact Virginia Day 770 993-9327.
• Cans for Burn Center – aluminum soft drink cans.  Contact Marlene Robinson 770 953-8429.

Volunteer Opportunities:

• Folding silverware at the Church on Wednesdays from 10:30 – 12:00 contact Ruth Young 678 560-7237.
• Flower Ministry – Altar flowers are re-arranged and delivered to shut-ins.  Contact Joan Tilghman 770 993-4422
• Letters to soldiers – www.operationdearabby.net
• Mt. Bethel Children’s Consignment Sale 2 times per year in March and September.
• Altar Guild contact Barbara Lester 770 971-2880
• Cobb Street Ministries helping families in Cobb County.  Friends in Faith Circle coordinates projects throughout the year.  I.e. Thanksgiving food baskets, Easter baskets.  Contact Millie Atkinson 770 578-1334 for more information.
