Carey is a graduate of Wheeler High School, Western Kentucky University and Asbury Theological Seminary. He has been the Pastor of Youth and Contemporary Worship Service for the Marietta First UMC. Prior to that, he served as the Minister of Youth and Children at the Dalewood UMC in Nashville, Tennessee. Carey was also a leader in Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Western Kentucky University. Prior to becoming an associate with Mt. Bethel, Carey served as the Pastor of College and Singles at the NorthStar Church in Kennesaw.
Carey and his lovely wife Traci were married in 1985 and they have two wonderful children, Ryan & Allie. Carey has a passion to reach young adults with God’s love through worship, discipleship and personal relationships.
