Sunday Mornings

[Sunday Worship Schedule] - [Spiritual Formation] - [Parking]

Sunday mornings at Mt. Bethel are filled with energy and smiling faces. We strive to make all visitors feel welcome by offering many options for worship and spiritual formation. The following steps will help you anticipate what a typical Sunday is like at Mt. Bethel UMC.

Sundays at Mt. Bethel

  1. Choose a Worship Service
We offer a variety of services for every type of worshiper. At 8:30am, our Chapel service is held for those who enjoy a smaller, traditional worship environment. A larger Traditional service is held at 9:30am and 11am in the Sanctuary. Children Kindergarten through 5th grade will enjoy our interactive Live it Live! service at 11am in the Fellowship Hall. Encounter, an inspiring and uplifting contemporary service, is also held at 11am in the Mt. Bethel CAC. In addition to worship services, we offer many Spiritual Formation classes and children's programs during the service times.

  2. Arrive and Park
We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before your service begins. To make your first visit as comfortable as possible, we have designated an area at the front of the lot for Visitors. Parking ushers will be readily available to help you navigate the lots. Shuttles also run continuously between two satellite parking locations for your convenience.

  3. Find a place for you and your kids
There are many opportunities for children and students to get involved on Sunday mornings. Visit our information booth in the atrium outside the Sanctuary to speak with an information center volunteer about where you and your kids can get involved.

  4. Worship
Greeters line the hallways of Mt. Bethel and can lend a hand if you're trying to find your way around. Ushers are available to help you find a seat. Each of our services offers a unique worship style that consists of scripture, prayer, praise, giving, and devotion. Feel free to try all our services to find your best fit. Don't forget to stop by the Fellowship Hall from 7:30-9:30am for breakfast and coffee!

  5. Deepen your relationship
Once you've decided to make Mt. Bethel your new church home, you will join in a New Member Class which will help you understand Mt. Bethel's vision and how to begin your journey in Christ. Please contact Krista Young when you are ready to begin this journey.

Mt. Bethel also offers a variety of weekday programs you and your family are welcome to attend.
