Caregiving for Your Parents from a Distance

Changes in health care in the last half century have enabled people to live longer and often more independently. As a result, adult children may not live in the same community,  state, or even country as their aging parents. Caregiving from a distance provides unique challenges for adult-children and aging parents. Facilitated by a panel of experts from Adult Children of Aging Parents (ACAP) and local experts from the senior care industry, this program will present strategies for helping keep your loved one engaged and safe, methods for researching resources in your parent’s home community, and suggestions for managing their needs and resources from a distance.
