Faith Milestone: The Lord's Prayer

Mt. Bethel Kids focuses on different faith milestones throughout the year. The First Grade Faith Milestone is to learn and then lead the congregation in reciting the Lord’s Prayer in the Sanctuary.

We are inviting all first graders to lead the congregation in the Lord’s Prayer on Sunday, February 8, at the 9:30am service. From January 18 through February 1, first graders will learn about the Lord’s Prayer in KidCity at both 9:30am and 11am. To prepare to recite the Lord’s Prayer, they will learn and discuss each component as a familiar and important way to communicate with God.

On February 8, kids will check-in to KidCity at 9:15am and then be escorted by their Small Group Leaders to the Sanctuary. After they recite the Lord’s Prayer during the first part of the service, they’ll be escorted back to KidCity and you may pick them up there at the end of the service.
