“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord” (Colossians 3:23)
Mt. Bethel Church Handy Helpers invites you and your family to join us for a fun-filled afternoon of food, fellowship, and learning some basic tool usage! We’ll kick things off with Andy Smith’s famous (or soon-to-be-famous! 😎) hot dogs, then roll up our sleeves for live demonstrations of several basic hand and power tools. Designed for adults and families with children ages eight and older*, this workshop is a great opportunity to learn practical skills, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed Sunday afternoon together!
Our Handy Helpers team is passionate about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and taking the mystery out of the “How do they do that?” side of construction for the next generation. We hope to inspire practical skills, encourage service, and maybe even plant seeds for future callings. And to make it even more fun, we’ll wrap up with a hands-on contest — with a prize for the winner!
Bring your appetite, your desire to learn a few "how to-dos," and your joy for learning together!
*Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
